The EDGE Mason Center for Outdoor Experiential Learning “Energize, Develop, Grow, Excel”

Mission Statement The EDGE – challenges the members of the global community to better understand themselves, those around them, and their world by using innovative approaches that educate, inspire and empower This is our mission statement.

The Course 2009 The site development began on July 15th Challenge course construction began August 10th The course opened October 1 The course formed in 2009 this is what was accomplished in such sort time.

We try to model and teach about an emotionally and physically safe environment by making it very clear that each individual has the choice to choose how they fit into any activity and that they are in charge of themselves.  We do not encourage people to sit completely out but instead  find a way to challenge themselves by taking on a role that is beneficial to the group. 15
