End-User Experience: iOS Device Initial Set-up

User Experience on an iOS Device: Step 1 User downloads Office 365 apps, such as Outlook, from the AppStore for iOS.

User Experience on an iOS Device: Step 2 User launches the app and is prompted to sign in using company credentials.

End-User Experience: Android Device Initial Set-up

User Experience on an Android Device: Step 2 User launches the app – in this example, Outlook – and is prompted to sign in using company credentials.

User Experience on an Android Device: Step 3 A dialog then appears advising the user to install the “Intune Company Portal app,” who then selects “Go to store.”

User installs the Intune app, then clicks “open” User Experience on an Android Device: Step 4 User installs the Intune app, then clicks “open” and uses organizational credentials to sign in. He/she will then see a dialog stating that your organization protects data in this app, taps ok and closes the app.

User Experience on an Android Device: Step 5 Upon re-opening Outlook and signing in using company credentials, the user will the see the dialog box at left, and clicks “OK” and re-starts the app.

User Experience on an Android Device: Step 6 If the PIN requirement has been set to “on” during set-up, when the user re-opens Outlook he/she will be prompted to enter a PIN to access the app.

User now has access to his/her Outlook mailbox and is offered a User Experience on an Android Device: Step 7 User now has access to his/her Outlook mailbox and is offered a quick tutorial.

Admin Experience: AutoPilot Set-up

The following slides walk you through the Admin set-up experience. AutoPilot Admin Experience Included in Microsoft 365 Business, Windows AutoPilot enables devices to be pre-registered and pre-configured via the cloud, allowing partners to deploy a new device with no IT intervention required. The following slides walk you through the Admin set-up experience.

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 1 Partner logs in to Microsoft Partner Center using his/her account credentials.

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 2 From the Partner Center dashboard, select “Customers” from the menu on the left.

Select the customer you want to provision. AutoPilot Set-up: Step 3 Select the customer you want to provision.

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 4 Again, select “Devices” in the left-hand menu, followed by “Assign and delete devices.”

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 5 Create a new, or use a previously created, batch name, then click “Browse.”

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 6 Locate the .csv file containing device IDs, which will be provided by your hardware vendor, and select “Open” to upload the file.

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 7 Next click “Validate” and then “Save.”

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 8 It’s now time to set policies for these devices. Simply select “Add new policy” under “Configuration policies.”

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 9 Enter a name and description for the policy, choose which of the Configuration Settings you want, and then click “Submit.”

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 10 You are returned to the Devices page, select the device batch created earlier and then click “Assign policy.” Choose the policy you just set from the drop-down list.

AutoPilot Set-up: Step 11 You’ll be asked to confirm the policy selection. Click “Yes” and you are done!

End-User Experience: First-run with AutoPilot

First-run End-User Experience with AutoPilot Included in Microsoft 365 Business, Windows AutoPilot enables devices to be pre-registered and pre-configured via the cloud, allowing partners and end-customers to deploy a new device with no IT intervention required. The following slides represent the screen-by-screen, first-run experience for the end-user with a device provisioned under AutoPilot.
