Why do Carlton go on residential visits? Part of the curriculum First hand geography Bonding experience Special memories Small topic done before and after the visit Learn more in a week than a year in the classroom Make new friends, increase social skills in preparation for high school Memories to last a lifetime – see the photos
Where is it? North Leeds Near Eccup reservoir Approximately 30 minutes on a coach.

Is it safe? Highly trained instructors All activities on site at Herd Farm Risk assessed Mr Coe and Mrs Clark in constant contact Staff usually overtrained – mountaineering, canoeing Risk assessments for – travel, accommodation, each activity
