Project Hermes Artificial Intelligence Initiative University of Toronto’s Alex Krizhevsky won the 2012 ImageNet computer image recognition competition. Krizhevsky beat, by a huge margin, handcrafted software written by computer vision experts. Krizhevsky and his team wrote no computer vision code. Rather, using deep learning, their computer learned to recognize images by itself…

Problem Amazon is dominating the ecommerce market Amazon conversion rate is 4x online retailers. When was the last time you purchased a product NOT on Amazon? Amazon accounted for 60% of U.S. online sales growth in 2015. The retail giant tallied $23 billion more in U.S. e- commerce sales in 2015 than 2014 - Forrester Research Amazon’s conversion rate is a whopping 74%.  And for non-Prime members, the conversion rate is still at 13% - that’s four times the average conversion rate of 3.32% for online retailers - Millward Brown Digital last year, 34% of 2,000 consumers polled said they started their online shopping on a search engine like Google. But 44% began at Amazon. That’s up from 30% in 2012, according to Forrester.

When a potential customer visits an online store, GIPA will load the products that are most likely to be purchased by the customer at that particular time and customized verbiage based on its AI understanding of consumer behavior, thus increasing the likelihood of a sale and the store’s conversion rate.
