Geometric shapes ‘Regular’ Shapes such as squares, circles, rectangles, cubes, spheres Typically regular in outline Often symmetrical Generally man-made, but can be in nature, such as raindrops, snowflakes or soap bubbles
Negative space that creates shape Sometimes the main shape isn’t the main element Shape can be created by negative space Can be more interesting than the elements around it
