Discussion Guidance The aim is to the derive the skill implications from the strategic IT objectives. The roadmap plots emerging skill needs and the difficulty of developing or sourcing them over a three-year horizon, and thereby not only advertises talent risks but also the importance of emerging skills to execute on strategic IT objectives. Instructions Populate the roadmap with the skills required across a three-year horizon. The size of the bubble represents the potential impact of a skill on executing on the IT strategic objectives, while the color represents the difficulty of sourcing or developing the skill. Behind several of the shifts were radical changes in how work gets done.
