Proposed Plan for the IPTV-GSI Overall direction from SG Chairmen’s meeting September ITU-T SG Chairmen meeting agreed to adopt the arrangements that we have put in place for the NGN work and to use these for the coordination and planning of the IPTV work during 2008 Agreed to establish an IPTV GSI and set up an IPTV TSR (to be coordinated by Ghassem Koleyni). The IPTV-JCA will be expanded to include representatives from other SDOs who have been involved in the IPTV Focus Group. The roles and functions of the IPTV-JCA and the IPTV TSR will be modelled on those we have established for the NGN work. The first IPTV GSI event will be held in association with the January NGN GSI event and study group meetings in Korea. Three further IPTV GSI events are provisionally planned for 2008 in association with the Study Group 9 and Study Group 16 meetings in April, the NGN GSI event in September and the Study Group 15 meeting in December.
