Program Includes: Trained and CPR/1st Aid certified coaches 20 curriculum-based practices designed by Girls on the Run Program t-shirt Registration into the end of season celebratory Girls on the Run 5K A healthy snack at each practice Program fee is $110 per season. Financial assistance is available and easy to obtain via our online registration process.
Team Start Up Requirements 1)Administration support to host a team at the school 2)At least 2 volunteer coaches to lead the team -New coach application and background check -Complete 1 hr of online training -Complete 4 hrs of in-person training -1 coach needs to be CPR/1st Aid Certified (class offered by GOTR) -Coaches can dedicate 1-2 days per week to practices (75 mins) -At least 1 coach to serve as point of contact between council and parents 3)Indoor meeting space for snack and the first 15-20 minutes of each practice 4)Safe outdoor meeting space where team can exercise, play running games and complete laps Our council provides: Coach bag with all materials needed for the season, reimbursement for snacks at each practice, training, guidance and support throughout the entire season!
