Drug Information Specialist Competition Introducing the first annual Drug Information Specialist Competition (DISC)! Hosted by the AMCP P&T Committee Designed to be a modified version of the P&T Competition Simpler version with the same opportunities to practice monograph analysis and drug research
Drug Information Specialist Competition Background: Hospital is adding a new medication to their formulary Participants have 3 new medications (of the same class) to choose from Monographs of each medication and drug pricing from the Red Book will be provided. Electronic resources will be accepted Analyze monographs and electronic resources and choose the best drug Participants will have 45 minutes to research and then give a 10-20 minute presentation to faculty

Safe Halloween When: Late October (before Halloween) Where: Midwestern University Ramada/ Lawn Last year: AMCP partnered with Kappa Psi to educate parents and children about poisonous substances in their households
