Uranus By: Hannah Snow Period # 4

Uranus’s power Uranus is god of the sky. Uranus is the literal sky just as his mother, and wife Gaea is the literal earth. With that being said it is obvious that Uranus does things such as making it rain.

Parent Gaea Uranus was created by Gaea. Gaea is the literal earth. Gaea created him to protect and cover her Soon after they became married.

Uranus’s children Cronus Uranus and Gaea had the following children The twelve titans , three Cyclopes , three Hecatoncheires , the hundred handed creatures , and the youngest son Cronus

This is a picture of Uranus Getting rid of Uranus Uranus lived in fear that his own children would over throw him. To rid of them Uranus threw the children back into the womb of his wife Gaea. Every time this happened the children died this angered Gaea. One day Gaea decided to give Cronus the order to get rid of Uranus. This is a picture of Uranus

Continued Cronus decided to obey his mothers orders. That night Cronus hid in his mother and fathers bed. He did manage to rid of his father while he was sleeping. After Uranus was taken care of, all of the anger created Erinyeas (in other words furies) , giants , and Melian Nymphs.

Continued Aphrodite at birth After Cronus threw his fathers remains into the sea of Paphos in Cyprus. Suddenly bubbles formed in the water it had transformed Aphrodite the Greek goddes of love.

The downfall of Uranus Cronus drove his father from power After that Cronus went for his brothers in Tartarus Cronus became supreme ruler of the world

After wards In the end Gaea , Cronus , Aphrodite , and the brothers that are still alive lived happily ever after. I wish I could say the same for Uranus , but because of his selfish acts he was no longer ruler and even though Gaea did not say it ,deep down inside she has a secret hatred towards Uranus.
