The Piano

Scene 1 The thin, sky high man sat by the musical piano, in a dark, silent room. The grand piano was placed perfectly in an orangey, red spotlight . Geoff, who felt lonely, played a gloomy song that he only played when he was thinking about is family and friends. An old, sad melody escaped from the deapths of the piano, filling the room with sadness. Pearly tears wistfully fell from his eyes and gently tumbled down his cheek, tickling his skin. The music glided across the room like a bird, moving swiftly through the gloom.

Scene 2 A shudder of coldness flew around, making Geoff think of bad things that have happened. Suddenly, Flash! Was it his wife, Elizabeth? Something, or someone, was beside him. The light shone upon her ghostly figure whilst Geoff and elizabeth’s hands met one another. But before long, elizabeth started to fade. When she was almost invisable, Elizabeth moved slowly towards Geoff, planting a cold kiss on his cheek.

Scene 3 Bang! A bullet found its pray. In war people end their lives, but this was cruel, unfair! As the stone faced Geoff raced worriedly, not caring for the action around him, he found a someone, not anyone, this was Geoff’s friend, best friend in fact! The ground was holding him up boldly, showing people how brave this warrior was. But life is unfair and it can’t be changed. A blood red cross watched nervously from the tip of Geoff’s hat. It can be said that Geoff tried to save his dear friend, but it was to late, nothing could be done…

Scene 4 A smile spread across the boys face. The box unravelled quickly and inside lay a wooden horse. Thankyou leapt out of the boys mouth Joy consumed the room.

Scene 5 As Geoff’s grandson raced around on the hobby horse as fast as lightning ,he looked back at Geoff and grinned gratefully.
