Basic premises We cannot teach without a plan Beginning teachers should learn the art of planning The making of the lesson plan should not become so burdensome…meanwhile follow your school’s requirements.

Why is the LP important? To have a guide/direction in teaching To help the supervisors in mentoring teachers It is one of the concrete indicators showing how a teacher performs his/her work

Course Requirement: Demo lesson with a lesson plan Prepare a lesson plan on the topic assigned to you. Degree of preparation = Actual demo in applying for a teaching job 2. Present your lesson in 25- 30 minutes 3. A panel of observers will be assigned to rate and evaluate the applicant Tools: SLU LHS EVALUATION FORM SIX THINKING HATS
