Developmental Mathematics Curriculum Proposal Passed Oct. 8, 2009 Created Four New Developmental Mathematics Courses Changed Prerequisites for over 350 Courses across campus Implementation Schedule Summer 2010 Begin with Levels I and II Fall 2010 New sequence for everyone who is not continuing from old sequence

Developmental Mathematics CPM I – Build Mathematical Foundation Significant Number of 8-week Classes Arithmetic Integrated with Algebra Key Concepts in Multiple Course Levels Multiple Learning Modes for Every Class Mini-lectures Group Activities Guided Practice Study Skills

Developmental Mathematics Team Teaching CPM I – 2 classes in one room CPM II, III, and IV – 4 classes in 3 rooms The following example is for a 16-week class that meets 2 days per week (80 minutes per class)
