However, warm fuzzies can also be taken away also. *You can earn/lose warm fuzzies as a class for: -Hallway procedures -Classroom procedures -Specials behavior -outside and indoor recess *Once we earn the class reward I empty the jar and we start all over. Reward when jar is filled: A popcorn party where we watch a video during lunch. Behavior CHart On the wall we have a Dr. Seuss clip chart. Everyone starts at the same place. If you move up to the top of the chart you get 5 dojo points!!! If you clip down one time that means it is your warning, on this level you are allowed to turn your behavior around and move up again. If you clip down to the Grinch you will not be able to move up, at this point you would have received many warning from me. You will lose 5 dojo points and be given a teachers choice consequence.

Mystery Walker????? -Every time before walking in the hallway as a class Ms. Van Ryen will select a student name from the mystery walker box. I will hide this name and be watching this student for hallway procedures until we get back to the class. If this student does a great job they will receive 5 dojo points 

What if I don’t finish my work? -Place your unfinished work in your homework folder. -If you have free time during the day you may pull out your unfinished work and complete it. -If you still do not have time to finish your work you will take it home and complete it as homework and bring it back the next day and turn it into the “For the Teacher” bin.

Homework? Every Tuesday students will receive their homework. I will also send an email out to everyone with the homework for the week. Students are expected to read at least 30 min. every night and use the online reading log. Homework is always due the following Tuesday. Unfinished work- If a student does not finish classwork they will put it in their homework folder and are expected to bring it back the next day. Make sure to remind your child to check their homework folder to see if they need to do anything. I will always let students know what should be brought home to finish.
