What do they tell us about jesus?

Calming storm 23 And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24 And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. 25 And they went and woke him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.” 26 And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. 27 And the men marveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?” (Matt 8:23-27)

Psalm 107 23 Some went down to the sea in ships,     doing business on the great waters; 24 they saw the deeds of the Lord,     his wondrous works in the deep. 25 For he commanded and raised the stormy wind,     which lifted up the waves of the sea. 26 They mounted up to heaven; they went down to the depths;     their courage melted away in their evil plight;

Psalm 107 27 they reeled and staggered like drunken men     and were at their wits' end. 28 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,     and he delivered them from their distress. 29 He made the storm be still,     and the waves of the sea were hushed. 30 Then they were glad that the waters were quiet,     and he brought them to their desired haven.

Feeding 5000 15 Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves.” 16 But Jesus said, “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” 17 They said to him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.” 18 And he said, “Bring them here to me.” 19 Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.20 And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. 21 And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

2 Kings 4 42 A man came from Baal-shalishah, bringing the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And Elisha said, “Give to the men, that they may eat.” 43 But his servant said, “How can I set this before a hundred men?” So he repeated, “Give them to the men, that they may eat, for thus says the Lord, ‘They shall eat and have some left.’” 44 So he set it before them. And they ate and had some left, according to the word of the Lord.
