The Academic Computer Lab Hours are generally: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 10:00pm Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm Saturday 9:00am – 2pm During spring and fall semesters, the Providence Campus offers Sunday hours. For the most current hours or more information visit: www.ccri.edu/it/labs

Academic Computer Lab & Library Computers NO FOOD or DRINKS are allowed in the Academic Computer Lab or Library Do not save any class or personal files on any PC on campus. All campus computers have software that erases saved documents at every restart. Bring an external storage device to save your documents Or use OneDrive to save your documents Always remember to log out of MyCCRI. This prevents others from accessing your personal information.

Using MyCCRI The MyCCRI web portal allows access to your schedule, grades, financial aid, course registration, view and pay your bill. Whenever you use a campus computer – remember to log out of MyCCRI to prevent other people from accessing your personal information. To access MyCCRI you need your CCRI username & password.

Office 365 & OneDrive Microsoft Office 365 offer access to Outlook email and Office Web Apps for creating and editing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations online. While using Office Web Apps, files are automatically saved to your OneDrive, which allows you to access your files from any computer with an internet connection. You can either use Office Web Apps through the web browser or install them on a computer. OneDrive is a cloud-based storage system. You are automatically logged into OneDrive when you access your MyCCRI email. OneDrive allows you to do the following. Store data in the cloud and share files with other CCRI students Access files using web browsers or mobile devices Create and edit MS Office files in the cloud with Office Web Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).

Printer Services The Academic Computer Labs and Libraries have multi-function devices, (MFDs) that provide you access to printing, copying, and scanning services. To use the printers you will need your CCRI identification number located on your CCRI ID badge or your class schedule. "Follow You" virtual printing allows you to send your document to print at any CCRI Academic Computer Lab or Library. Your print job will be stored for 72 hours. Go to the computer lab or library when you are ready to print to use the MFD to print your document. PrinterOn offers easy and convenient printing from personal devices. Just download the app and you can print from any Internet connected or Wi-Fi enabled device.

Blackboard Blackboard is the learning management software program CCRI uses for online courses and communication. If you have registered for an online course, you will be using Blackboard. Professors place their course materials on Blackboard including class discussions, course videos and web links. Student may take tests and quizzes and submit assignments and homework through Blackboard. Many faculty who teach traditional classes (classes held on campus) may use Blackboard as well. Visit the Academic Computer Lab if you need help accessing Blackboard.

RAVE Emergency Alert System You have been automatically enrolled in the Rave Emergency Alert system. This system delivers text and email messages during emergencies and when adverse weather conditions affect normal campus operations and is used only in these situations.

Getting Help Using Technology at CCRI Each campus has an Academic Computer Lab. This is the place to visit to get help with any technology issue or to get an answer to your technology question. To receive help you must bring a photo ID. Go to www.ccri.edu/it/labs for current lab schedules.
