Why Clean With Sodablasting? If you take a careful look at the commercial cleaning industry you will realize that a lot of innovations have taken place and lots more are gradually sweeping the industry. These days cleaning companies are making use of innovative cleaning technologies to perform their services. Gone are the days of traditional cleaning that involved the use of rags and chemicals that cause biological and ecological hazards. What you have now is an amazing use of various media like sand, dry ice and walnut shell for your blasting jobs. But why is blasting with soda very prominent among all the other blasting options? It's important to note that, before the use of soda, the main blasting media was sand. But the problem with Sandblasting lies in its highly abrasive nature which erodes the substrate coatings, pitting glass, tearing rubber, plastic and also etching metals. And this is where the soda blasting comes into the picture because it's less abrasive and offers a better result. An excellent feature of soda blasting lies in its ability to be used wet or dry to remove paint, corrosion, oil, grease, carbon etc. Some important facts and benefits of soda blasting  Sodium Bicarbonate is not poisonous rather it's a food grade material that's water soluble.  With soda blasting, you don't have a need for any toxic cleaning chemical because it does the job 100%.  It's highly effective when cleaning multi-layered surfaces.  You can soda blast your machines even when there are in use.  Soda blasting guards against rust in metals. Thereby putting to rest the problem of flash rusting. With the sodium bicarbonate you are guaranteed of a rust inhibitor, which will leave a protective coating that's formed by the soda on the surface of the object that you are cleaning and this gives you ample time to carry out the painting of the surface whenever you are ready by simply removing the protective coating with a vinegar/water mixture. With the Mohs scale, you will fully appreciate the soft consistency of soda. Mohs scale of Abrasives When you have seven or more hard abrasives on the Mohs scale it remains intact, which means most of the force is directed to the substrate. Meanwhile, softer abrasives such as glass beads and soda crystals are bound to shatter on impact and this will result to the channelling of part of the forces to different directions immediately the particle "explodes" into finer fragments. When this happens, parts of

the fragments pass along the substrate perpendicular to the original direction of impact. Note that these are the fragments that carry out amazing cleaning job on the surface of the object that you are cleaning. In conclusion, with soda blasting you can achieve remarkable results with your cleaning jobs and in addition these results will be achieved in the most professional and environmentally safe condition. This is the reason why cleaning companies are increasingly integrating the soda blasting into their everyday cleaning job routine.
