 The Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs  First Saturday in May.  Famous people come from all over the world to watch this horse race.  First Derby was in  Winner gets a $10,000 handmade garland of roses for their horse and a trophy worth $100,000.  Entry fee is $25,000 and those who are accepted pay another $25,000 to race.  Winners get a 2 Million dollar prize.  Horses are three years old.  Jockeys are 110 lbs
