Half Term Homework 18th October 2017 Times Tables: A fact family is the 4 number sentences you can always work out if you know 1 of them. So, if I know that 6 x 2 = 12, then I also know that 2 x 6 = 12, 12 ÷ 6 = 2 and 12 ÷ 2 = 6. I know that 4 x 6 = 24. What else do I know? What is the complete fact family for 6 x 9? What is 30 ÷ 6? What else can you tell me? Which number is missing from this fact family? 6 x 8 = ??, 8 x 6 = ??, ?? ÷ 6 = 8, ?? ÷ 8 = 6 6 x ? = ??, 8 x 6 = ??, ?? ÷ 6 = 8, ?? ÷ 8 = 6 I know that 11 x 6 = 66. What else do I know? What is the complete fact family for 6 x 6? What is 18 ÷ 6? What else can you tell me?
