We start the 10th of September with the beautiful film Arromanches 360 And descend to the rustic village which, in 1944 was buzzing with activity when a huge artificial harbor was built to supply the invasion force.

At low tide you can still see some remains.

After lunch, the batteries of Longues sur Mer.

And a short stop at Omaha Beach

Due to erosion it’s is forbidden to get close to the cliff’s edge.

There’s enough to see on top of the cliff though.
