BELL Bell – let’s play the ABC game!

Today, you will… CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.11-12.5 Develop and strengthen writing as needed by critically reading one another’s writing, answering questions in reference to writing, and offering suggestions on how to revise memoir to address weaknesses identified.

Get It Perfect by Friday! Go back over your memoir and the referral form. Consider what, if any, additional changes you would like to make. Log on to figment, make your final changes and PUBLISH your memoir no later than class time on Friday.

Poetry Background Begin discussing basic poetry terminology. View ppt. – using notability, circle details, highlight important facts, etc. while discussing ppt.

Poem of You Choose a song your feel encompasses you as a person. Explain what ‘speaks’ about you in the song. This should be a well written paragraph with quality reasons and support. Use the song you identified as symbolic of you and create an original poem. Minimum of 15 lines. No other rules apply other than it must incorporate at least three ‘snippets’ from the song, be about you, and focus on the personal qualities you feel the song epitomizes. Post on figment as My Poem. Cite the song you use!
