Graduation requirements English- 4 credits Math- 4 credits Science- 3 credits Social Studies- 4 credits Health/PE- 1 credit 12 elective credits one of which must be an additional art, a CTE, or a world language* ***Foreign language (if you plan to go to a 4-yr college)- 2 credits of same language. 28 total credits to graduate

Honors and ap cOURSES - Honors courses and AP courses are more challenging than standard level courses in order to foster growth for advanced learners.

Electives We have electives in a variety of core subject areas, arts, languages, ROTC, and CTE courses. You must choose electives each year so we encourage you to pick areas that interest you.

CTE Internship 11th & 12th Graders Must be able to provide your own transportation 2 courses in same program area You are responsible for setting up your internship (must be in same program area). CTE Internship

RCCC Mechanical Drafting *Take Mechanical Drafting courses through RCCC at East Rowan! *We offer 2 courses at East, if you take the 4 remaining of the courses at RCCC campus you will complete a Certificate Degree for this program. *The Certificate can translate into an Associates Degree from RCCC with a few more courses taken. *The Associates will also transfer to UNC-Charlotte and count for 2 of 4 years of the Engineering Technology Bachelors of Science Degree 11th & 12th Graders Courses Offered: DFT 151 – CAD software tool DFT 111 - basic drafting skills, equipment, and applications RCCC Mechanical Drafting

Career & College Promise Free tuition. Students are responsible for books and other fees Students must meet eligibility to qualify Students are responsible for transportation (unless course offered online) Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Dual credit CTE Pathway or College Transfer Pathway Career & College Promise

NCVPS NC Virtual Public School Taught entirely online, intended for strong and highly motivated rising juniors and seniors. Prior approval is required and only courses not taught at ERHS will be approved NCVPS

Early Release/ Late Arrival This option is available for Seniors only Caution- Many colleges prefer that students take a full load of courses. We strongly recommend that you contact the admissions of the college/university you are interested in before deciding. You are not allowed to be on campus during a block you don’t have a course! You must provide your own transportation Form required to be signed by a parent/legal guardian Early Release/ Late Arrival

Step 1 Know Your Username and Password If you cannot remember this information See Your Teacher! (Teachers Refer to Email Sent)

Step 2 Go to Career Cruising and Login Your screen should match the picture.

Step 3 Click on Choose My Courses on the left hand column.

Step 4 Your screen should look like this.

Step 5 Find the Year You will Begin Next Year and Click On English. From there you can choose Regular, Honors, AP, etc… Continue this process with all of your classes until you have filled in all boxes. For Elective Classes make sure that you provide an Alternate class.

Step 6 Know Who your counselor is. Last Name Ending A-G Ms. Taylor is your Counselor Last name ending H-N Mrs. Turner is Your counselor Last name ending 0-Z Mrs. Bradshaw is your counselor
