Shell’s commitment to improving road safety Shell wants to improve road safety. How is Shell currently influencing road safety: Rules of the Road brochures for each asset Road Transport Forums with our Partners in Safety Conduct Road Transport assessments on Partners in Safety Conduct infield inspections on heavy goods vehicles Support the implementation of In Vehicle Mentoring Systems Traffic Management plans for high risk activities (rig moves, large frac’s, etc.) As part of a continuous improvement journey on road safety, Shell has established a “Bad Actor” hotline, whereby, individuals can report unsafe driving acts or behaviors observed on public or private roads.

Add this number to your cell phone contact list “bad actor” hotline If you observe an unsafe act by drivers, please call toll free: 1-800-586-8449 Add this number to your cell phone contact list The following information will be requested: Your name and contact info -or- you can remain anonymous. The Shell Business or Asset which you are working for. Event details - where, when, description of event, other vehicle details (color, make, model, license plate, any distinguishing marks/logos).

“bad actor” hotline Depending on where the events occur (public or private roadways), Shell will share the information collected with a variety of stakeholders: Law enforcement agencies - however, Shell cannot guarantee an event will be followed up on by the agencies. Shell’s Partners in Safety: Oil and Gas companies operating within the area of the event Other industries (i.e. mining or forestry) operating within the area of the event. Companies, like yours, which work with Shell.
