Upcoming Events and Reminders September Upcoming Events and Reminders Social/Emotional 9/4-Labor day holiday 9/5-Parent Orientation (5-5:45) 9/8-Grandparent’s Day (1:20-2:10) 9/19-Watch DOGS Pizza Night (6-7 in the library) Send your child’s folder every day. You may send a water bottle in your child’s backpack. Check the lunch menu to make sure that your child will eat what they get on their tray. This month we will be learning classroom routines and expectations. We will be building our classroom community as a family. We will be discussing similarities and differences in each other and learning to appreciate each other. We will also be learning about our families. Literacy Math Recognizing letters and sounds. Identifying elements of print and books. Uses marks, letters, or symbols to communicate with writing. Rote count from 1-30. Counts 1-10 items, with one count per item. Sorting Shapes Describes passage of time.
