Ministry of Youth and Sports Cross- Sectorial Strategy for Youth (2011-2013)

The Vision: Empowered , participant ,responsible Youth with diverse opportunities , capable of reaching services and information, and capable of depending on them selves ,committed and rooted in their homeland.

The Mission Because MOYS believes that youth are the palpitant heart for durable human development ,we are aiming at taking care and fostering Youth and Adolescents at all physical, epistemic and behavioral levels, moreover we are aiming at empowering them and strengthening their participation in struggle for liberation and merging them in the development and the building process of their homeland and societies.

Strategic Goals Empowering ,expanding and developing Youth and Adolescents participation in all fields of life. Developing and enhancing values of citizenship, affiliation and civil rights of Youth. Empowering Youth’s Economic ,political and social conditions. Improving quality of programs and services offered for Youth and Adolescents ,facilitating access to them.

Sectorial Policies Empowering and rehabilitation. Enhancing consciousness and defending rights. Institutional building and development and developing human recourses. Providing services and programs. Cooperation ,integration, coordination and. networking at the national, international and at Arab levels. Advocacy and earning support

Interventions Interventions in participation: 1-Youth struggle. 2-Enhancing political participation. 3-Developing representative bodies for Youth. 4-Obligatory civil national service. Interventions in citizenship and belonging: 1-Enhancing affiliation and belonging. 2-Motivating voluntary work 3-National honor charter.

Interventions in political and economical domains for Youth: : 1-Reducing unemployment and guaranteeing equal opportunities. 2-Youth development and lending. 3-Social responsibility. 4-Fitting education with society needs and labor market. Interventions in education and training 1-developing educational curriculum in schools, and activating participatory educational perspective.

Interventions in Health: 1-upgrade levels of services and health insurances for Youth and Adolescents. 2-rising health and sociological health awareness. Interventions in culture & Media: 1-Cultural development for Youth and Adolescents. 2-Enhancing Youth Media and engaging youth in media.
