Overview You can make your Windows 95 setup more exciting. Windows lets you change:

Colours Appearance tab in Display Properties Through Control Panel or Right click on desktop Variety of standard colour schemes Scroll through the schemes Create your own colour scheme

Background Patterns You might like to apply a pattern to your desktop. You can achieve this by choosing the Background tab in Display Properties. Click on the down arrow in the Patterns area and make your selection from the list supplied.

Wallpaper The wallpaper appears as a background to your desktop. A graphics image makes up the wallpaper pattern. Select the Wallpaper tab in the Display Properties dialogue box.
