RULES REGARDING EXAMINATION Following tests carry weightage as under:- (for Classes IX – X ) (A) Periodic Tests-1,2,3 10 (B) Note books 5 (C) Subject enrichment 5 activity/ Practical (D) Annual Exam with (Complete syllabus) 80 Total(A+B+C+D) = 100

STEPS TAKEN BY SCHOOL 1. Regular assessment of the students is done through class tests. 2. Peer teaching is encouraged. 3. Saturday is given as a half day for self study by the students. 4. Difficulty level of the question paper is maintained in order to prepare the students to face board exams. 5. Students are encouraged to write the answers in their own words as Value Based Question.

STEPS TAKEN BY SCHOOL 6. Math homework is given regularly for practice. 7. Wider variety of teaching techniques are used to enhance learning. 8. Extra classes are conducted for poor performers. 9. Proper revision is taken before exams. 10. Parents regular counseling is done to instigate their involvement.

ROLE OF PARENTS 1. Parents should check their wards school diary regularly for teacher’s notes and remarks. 2. Parents are requested to follow the text messages sent by the school 3. Parents should attend the PTM according to the time slot suggested. 4. Parents are required to intimate any unusual behavior of the child at home. 5. Parents should keep a track of the students peer group and their involvement in their social circle. 6. Parents should keep their wards away from mobile phones, TV, and computer sets.

ROLE OF PARENTS 7. Parents should monitor their wards and discourage them from being a part of social media like fb and Instagram.. Which is the major cause of their distraction. 8. Single parents handling the children should be vigilant for any behavioral change in their ward. 9. Parents should come and meet the class teacher and subject teacher on Saturday after school in case of any problem. 10. Tell your ward to see English News daily & read English Newspaper. 11. Parents should make sure that the students come in proper school uniform . 12. Girls should tie their hair in two plaits and boys should maintain proper hair cut and hair highlighting is strictly not allowed.

ROLE OF PARENTS 13. The exam schedule and extra classes is mentioned in the school dairy. The parents should plan their vacations accordingly. 14. The syllabus and date sheet is uploaded on the school website apsmhow.org. 15. Parents should encourage students for self study instead of sending them for coaching 16. NCERT books should be followed for best results 17. Inculcate reading habit in the children. 18. Parents should make sure that the students attend the school regularly.
