Course Selection The first day to register for classes is Monday, March 5th at 9am Registration will remain open until Friday, March 16th at 3pm Students must meet the prerequisites in order to register for classes

Promotion Credit Requirements At the completion of 9th grade, students will need to have earned at least 6 credits to be promoted to the 10th grade. It is recommended that you have completed 10 hours of community service.

GPA Grade Point Average If you get all A’s Freshman year Page 10 of P.O.S. If you get all A’s Freshman year 4.0 GPA If you get all A’s and one F 3.43 GPA If you get 5 A’s and 2 F’s 2.86 GPA Please Note: You will not earn credit for any classes that you fail and you will need to retake that course

What is New Hampshire Scholars? It is part of the State Scholars Initiative, a national program, that uses business leaders to motivate students to complete a rigorous course of study in high school Challenge yourself! Go beyond your high school graduation requirements

New Hampshire State Scholars STEM Emphasis Art Emphasis 4 years of English 4 years of Math 4 years of Science 3 ½ years of Social Science 2 years of Foreign Language 1 year or more chosen Technology, Engineering, Computers, etc Minimum of 3.2 GPA 3 years of Science 2 years chosen from Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Music, Graphic Design, etc.

Guidance Appointments Log into PTC Wizard at WHS (on website) and use the same password as you use at Middle School. Schedule an appointment with your counselor (alphabet breakdown posted) If you do not see a time that works for you, you can sign up with any of the counselors. If appointment times are taken-please call Guidance at 845-1558

Global Leadership Program Global Economics AP Gov’t & Policy or AP Environmental Science Global Perspectives class 3 years of a World Language (same language) International travel-with school or pre-approved family travel 15 hours of community service in a multi-cultural environment
