Presentation transcript:

I’m watching you… Hailey walked down the mental asylum corridor, escorted by a security guard. He lead her to her room. -There you go. Meet us in the kitchen for lunch. Enjoy your stay! Hailey has been admitted to Dawnside Hill Mental Faculty previously that day, and she was nervous about her stay. She wasn’t crazy, you know, just a little sad. Why lock her up with insane people then? She unpacked her bags reluctantly, sat on her bed for a while, then finally decided to join the group and eat a little bit.

There was 6 people sitting at the old wooden table There was 6 people sitting at the old wooden table. One nurse, who greated her with a smile, a young junkie girl named Karen, a little anorexic boy, an eighteen years old girl who seemed nice, and this boy. He wouldn’t stop staring at Hailey. As soon as the nurse wasn’t paying attention, he would look at her with his dark empty eyes, almost peeking directly into her soul. Poor Hailey started to feel very uncomfortable. She turned to Karen and whispered: -Why is he here? What’s wrong with him? -Oh, he did a psychosis, probably caused by his addiction to absynth. He then tried to kill his own mother with a knife. But Joachim’s a pretty chill boy, really. He isn’t that talkative, in fact he never spoke to me, but he cooks delicious cookies! An hour later, Hailey had her first real encounter with the psycho boy. He came behind her while she was playing piano in the living room. -Hey! Uhm… so you are Joachim. -Yes. I’ve been watching you lately. You’re Hailey. « I’ve been watching you. » That gave Hailey the chills. She tried to keep the conversation going, despite the akward silence that has emerged between them. -So, how have you been doing lately? -I keep having these intrusive thoughts about killing and torturing people and I get convinced that I must execute these thoughts so they get real and I can be free. That’s when our frightened girl ran back to her room.

It was a dark and stormy night, and Hailey didn’t sleep well It was a dark and stormy night, and Hailey didn’t sleep well. The words of Joachim kept running around in her head. She was a little scared. In the middle of the night, she decided to go drink some water, trying to change her thoughts and get a better sleep.

He was standing there, just beside the kitchen sink, a knife in his left hand. He seemed calm, placid. -Hey there, Hailey! Please, come with me for a walk, I’m looking for my lost shoe but I’m scared to go alone. I brought a knife to defend myself, but please come with me… He smiled at her. She was terrified but visibly she had no other choice. So, she followed him through the aisle, and they both ended up in the isolation room. He closed the door and locked it with a key. Then, he slowly turned around and looked into her eyes.

You can scream as much as you want here, darling, but no one is going to hear you. He strapped her to the bed. She tried to escape but she couldn’t. She screamed, but nobody came. Joachim raised the knife above her chest and stabbed her.

Since he was at the mental institute, Joachim have murdered 11 people Since he was at the mental institute, Joachim have murdered 11 people. He keeps listening to the voices in his head to this day. I hope you meet him one day, he’s cute and bakes awesome cookies!
