Planet Earth Eco-Sales Pilot Program One Back Yard at a Time Planet Earth Eco-Sales Pilot Program

The Pilot Project A goal of our organization is grass-roots participation in strategies to save our planet The Eco-Sales Pilot Project was conceived to help our community put green strategies in place A survey was conducted to determine which of a number of fairly simple green strategies our neighbors would support

Survey Results

The Plan We analyzed the survey results and identified the three strategies respondents were most likely to use Compost bins Rain barrels Solar garden lights An initial bulk order was placed for two versions of each item Flyers and other inexpensive means of advertising alerted community neighborhoods to availability of these items at Planet Earth headquarters

Pilot Program Results Each item was marked up a small amount to cover advertising and sales force costs As shown on the next slide, the program has been successful! Planet Earth
