B - 52 Ingredients ½ part Cointreau or Triple Sec ½ part coffe liquier (e.g. Kaluha or Tia Maria) ½ part Irish cream Glass: Shooter glass Method: Build Alcohol%: 28% Preparation Layer the coffee liqueur, the Irish cream and finally the Cointreau gently in a shooter glass so they stay separate. Use the back of a teaspoon to do so: pour the liqueurs gently on the back of it to avoid them mixing.

Dry Martini cocktail ice cubes 2 1/2 msrs dry gin 1/2 msr dry vermouth 1 olive 1 knot lemon rind Note: Fill martini pitcher with ice. Gently pour in gin. Add vermouth and stir gently. Strain into chilled martini glass and add olive and knot of lemon rind. Manhattan (dry) ice cubes 1 1/2 msrs Canadian whiskey 3/4 msr dry vermouth 2 dashes Angostura bitters 1 olive 1 knot lemon rind Note: Stir ice with whiskey, vermouth and bitters. John (or Tom) Collins ice cubes 2 msrs dry gin 2 msrs lemon juice 1 teaspoon sugar (gomme) syrup soda water 1 slice of lemon 1 colored cherry Note: Place ample ice in large glass. Add gin, lemon juice and syrup. Top up with soda water and stir well. Serve with slice of lemon, cherry and a straw.

Manhattan (dry) ice cubes 1 1/2 msrs Canadian whiskey 3/4 msr dry vermouth 2 dashes Angostura bitters 1 olive 1 knot lemon rind Note: Stir ice with whiskey, vermouth and bitters. Strain into martini glass. Spear olive with cocktail pick and balance on edge of glass. Add knot of lemon rind. Manhattan (sweet) ice cubes 1 1/2 msrs Canadian whiskey 3/4 msr sweet vermouth 1 dash Angostura bitters 1 maraschino cherry 1 knot lemon rind Note: Stir ice with whiskey, vermouth and bitters. Strain into martini glass. Spear cherry with cocktail pick and balance on edge of glass. Add knot of lemon rind.

Old Fashioned 2 dashes Angostura bitters 1 cube sugar ice cubes 1 msr rye or bourbon 1 lemon rind twist 1 maraschino cherry Note: Muddle bitters and sugar cube in old-fashioned tumbler until sugar is dissolved. Add ice cubes and rye or bourbon. Twist lemon rind over drink to extract zest, drop it in and garnish with cherry.
