Relationships Filled With the Spirit

Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.  

Ephesians 4:1(ESV) 1 Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called.  

“We do what we do because we think like we think.”  

Ephesians 5:18-21(ESV) And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, 19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,  

Ephesians 5:18-21(ESV)  20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Being filled with the Spirit c. Grieving the Spirit And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Ephesians 4:30-31

Being filled with the Spirit c. Grieving the Spirit How do you respond when you hear something good about someone that you do not like? Or how do you feel when something bad happens to them?

Fruit of the Spirit But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Galatians 5:22-23

Philippians 2:3,4 (nasb) 3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

If you are here today and you want to commit your life to Christ it is rather simple… Ephesians 1:13  In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. Talk with someone about your decision or ask questions about what you do not understand.  

Take aways… If you are here today and you want to commit your life to Christ it is rather simple… Are you spending time reading your Bible? Make a plan to try to read 15 minutes a day. Find someone who can help you do this.
