Doctoral Education Programme New 2017 Particulars of the Faculty of Arts Attending the training module on digital humanities organized by the Faculty of Arts during the first six months after enrollment for the PhD. The module consists of six hours of basic training resulting in the creation of a personalized research data management plan, and a more specialized training of four hours. Session 1: Monday October 9, 10:00 – 12:00 (Justus Lipsiuszaal) Session 2: Monday October 16, 10:00 – 12:00 (Justus Lipsiuszaal) Session 3: Friday October 27, 10:00 – 12:00 (Justus Lipsiuszaal) Following a minimum of 12 course hours of onderwijsprofessionalisering (teacher professionalization) during the first two years of the PhD.

Uploading your progress report step by step See: http://www.arts.kuleuven.be/english/phd/phd_forms Download and fill out the template + add a brief summary of your research progress (± 2 pages); Let the report sign by your supervisor, and ask him/her to write a brief assessment on your progress; Upload the approved report via KU Loket. → Progress reports from students of LUCA School of Arts must be approved by the research unit before they can be uploaded in KU Loket

Supervisory Committee Composition: supervisor + (co-supervisor) + (at least) two other members Appointment: berfore the end of the first year → Before the end of the second doctoral year at least one member of the supervisory committee must be external to KU Leuven Registration via your first progress report
