Presentation transcript:

20000 leagues under the sea Jules Verne project

The genre is adventure and science fiction.

The story is set in the depths of the sea on the submarine called Nautilus.

The main characters of the novel are Professor Pierre Aronnax, his servant Conseil, the harpooner Ned Land and the mysterious captain Nemo.

The book tells us about the mysterious inventor captain Nemo The book tells us about the mysterious inventor captain Nemo. Together with his companions he sets off for a very exciting adventure. Reading of this novel may take one’s breath away. First they fight with the savages on an island somewhere in the Indian ocean, then they investigate the world of the deep ocean where they meet dangerous sharks, giant octopuses and finally get stuck in the Antarctic ices almost dying from the lack of air as they cannot surface for a long time. The end of the story is rather unpredictable.

I liked this book because the story is very thrilling, and I certainly recommend it for reading. Besides the numerous adventures that you will enjoy with Capitan Nemo you will be able to learn a lot of new things about the underwater fauna, Geography and Physics.
