Number of Faculty by Type TL faculty count stable, some drop off due to buyout SCS is an important factor in adjunct growth TL Faculty include all tenure line faculty with a primary appointment on main campus that year. Non-Tenure line include all full-time NTL faculty on the main campus including both research and teaching NTL faculty. Adjunct counts include all adjuncts who taught at least one course (not independent study) on main campus in the fall or the spring. Adjuncts also include non-faculty GU employees who teach courses as a secondary job. All numbers exclude GU-Q, and are distinct headcounts.

NTL Count by School Growth in NTL faculty count. McCourt count doubled; includes research NTL. Non-Tenure line includes both research and teaching NTL faculty. All numbers are distinct headcounts within the school, and there is no double counting across schools. Chart excludes non-academic schools with few NTL faculty (e.g. CIED, Kennedy Institute, Academic Programs, CNDLS, OIP)
