Section 1: Bicameral Legislature Congress of the United States shall consist of Senate and House of Representatives Section 2 – The House of Representatives 1. Term A. 2 years B. elected by the people

Section 4 – Provisions common to both House and Senate 1. Elections are held on Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November of Even Years 2. Congress shall assemble once a year. Forbids members of Congress from serving in either the Executive branch or the Judicial Branch

Clause 18- Elastic Clause A. To pass any law that is necessary and proper for carrying out the foregoing powers B. Implied Powers are derived from this clause

Section 9 – Powers Denied 1. Bills of Attainder 2. Ex Post Facto Laws 3. No preference shall be given to one state over another state 4. No preference shall be given to one port over another port 5. No $$$ shall be spent except by Appropriations Bill 6. No Title of Nobility
