Kelda WWTW Improvement Plan Completed Works Odour Control Enhancements Sludge Treatment Centre Lamella Backwash Future Improvements Improved grit removal. Improved fats, oils & grease removal. BAFF treatment media replacement. Odour treatment media replaced. Improved building air management. Fan and Motor refurbishments. Assessment and modelling. Improved air management at sludge import area. Final installation and commissioning of new sludge screening & thickening technology. Design and procurement of new sludge centrifuge. Installation & commissioning of centrifuge Enhanced treatment of internal process liquor. Odour risk assessed and mitigated. Improved primary settlement capability. Further building ventilation improvements. Review of odour management plan. Delivered by October 2015 January 2016 April 2016 March 2016 May 2016 April 2016 2016/17 Reinstate odour duct to sludge import well. Connection pipe to depressurise to the well. Dedicated discharge well for sudge.
