God is Just

Duet. 32:4 – He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

Psalm 96:13 – Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.

Duet. 10:17 – For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.

Romans 2:2 – Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.

2 Thes. 1:6 – God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you.

Psalm 62:12 – …and with you, Lord, is unfailing love; and, You reward everyone according to what they have done.

Rules with Truth

Jeremiah 10:10a – But the Lord is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King.

Psalm 33:4 – For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.

John 14:6 – Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life John 14:6 – Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

God is Love

1 John 4:8 – Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 John 4:10 – This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

John 15:15 – I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

Rules with Grace

Galatians 3:13 – Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”

Romans 3:24 – and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 9:14 – How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God.

Romans 4:4-5 – Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.

Ephesians 2:8-9 – For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.
