Welcome to Illuminate Report Cards Elementary Online Report Cards 2017-18

A few things before we start: Report Cards are now 8 ½” by 11”, multiple pages printed by elementary classroom teachers There is a copy of this Camtasia, the accompanying handout, and a sample of your grade level report card on the CITA portion of the Intranet, under Illuminate Elementary Report Cards.

A few things before we start: The content of the report cards is the same as past years, except for a few areas: There is a new field added to the Habits of Mind section that says “Habits of Mind impedes Academic Performance” (Y/N) This report card reflects the new ELA report card items for each grade level. Teachers no longer need to record attendance on the report cards. Absences and tardies will be populated for you a day or two AFTER the marking period ends.

A few things before we start: Art, Music and PE teachers will have report card access during the second marking period. They will input their report card information in Illuminate from their own computers, and this will print on the student’s report card for second and fourth marking periods.

A few parting words: An important note on Science Assessments: Because these are not given in any particular marking period, the fields are “overlaid”. That is the score for MP1 is on top of MP2 which is on top of MP3, etc. The scores will be hidden in the Report Card Viewer, but will appear in the PDF at print time. You can double check Science scores in the Entry by Field mode. It might be a good idea to have a printed copy of your grade level report card with you as you work, so you can make notes and check off completed items.

Good Luck! If you need additional assistance, the Technology Liaison from your building as well as other trained teachers are available to help you. Any questions? Contact Barbara Heininger.
