BRAND INFORMATION BRAND HISTORY FEATURES AND BENEFITS COMPETITIVE SET Founded in 1981 by two psychiatrists. Named after the psychological condition meaning: “a shared psychosis between two people.” Sustainably sourced grapes from diverse Sonoma County regions known for each varietal. Acquired by Trinchero Family Estates in 2004. FEATURES AND BENEFITS Diverse microclimates in Sonoma make it superior for growing a variety of grapes. Sustainable farming and true-to-varietal wines that evoke a sense of place. Approachable and food friendly wines that are ready to drink upon release. Great value for Sonoma County pedigree AVA’s. COMPETITIVE SET La Crema, Chateau St. Jean, Rodney Strong, Simi, St. Frances, Alexander Valley Vineyards, Sonoma-Cutrer

KEY SELLING POINTS Chard: v2016 Cabernet sauvignon: v2014 Zin: v2013 Sourced out of seven prime cool-climate vineyards in the acclaimed Russian River Valley. Cooling fog from the Pacific blankets vineyards reducing the temperature by 35 to 40 degrees at night fostering a long, even growing season. The range of alluvial soils provides essential water drainage while retaining moisture and nutrients to support the vines through a long growing season. Slow ripening, intense varietal flavors, bright and vibrant acidity. Fermented in French, American and Hungarian Oak (10% new) and underwent 50% malolactic fermentation. Aged 85% in its fermentation vessel for nearly six months. Bright acidity beneath notes of pineapple, peach, satsuma, orange blossom, cotton candy and toasted bread. Richly textured, medium bodied and crispness. CHARDONNAY RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY Sourced from Alexander Valley famous for its warm climate, marine-cooled evenings and well-drained, volcanic hillside soils. Moderate temperatures, abundant sunshine, and minimal rainfall allowed for even ripening and less fungal threat. Maceration period of 10 to 16 days, which fostered rich color, medium body, balanced mouthfeel and excellent aging potential. Fermented at a moderate 75°F, aged for 22 months in a combination of French and American oak. Rich fruit, soft, plush tannins, well-balanced, refined acidity. Concentrated aromas of blackberry and boysenberry jam are balanced by spicy anise, clove and tea. Firm structure and ripe tannins. v.2013: 90 pts. “Editors’ Choice” Wine Enthusiast v.2013: 94 pts. Tasting Panel CABERNET SAUVIGNON ALEXANDER VALLEY Chard: v2016 Cabernet sauvignon: v2014 Zin: v2013 Fruit pulled from the Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County, one of California’s smallest appellations. Warm summer days tempered by morning fog and well-drained, stony soils translate to highly concentrated, complex fruit. 90% Zinfandel, 10% Petite Sirah. Underwent three-day cold soak. Starter yeast was used to initiate fermentation at 75°F and pumped over the skins daily during an 11 to 15 day maceration period to maximize extraction of flavor and tannin. Délestage, an oxidation technique, was used to soften wine. Aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels. Aromas of jammy berry, notes of allspice, mocha, cedar, flavors of bright fruit, balanced acidity, medium tannins, soft, round mouthfeel and long, lingering finish. v.2012: “Top 10 Dynamic CA Zin” Wine Spectator v.2012: 93pts. Tasting Panel ZINFANDEL DRY CREEK VALLEY

KEY SELLING POINTS Merlot: v2013 Pinot noir: v2014 Pinot Gris: v.2016 Alexander Valley fruit that benefits from warm daytime temperatures, marine-cooled evenings and well-drained, volcanic soils. Following a 10 to 14 day maceration period, the wine is aged for 17 months in a combination of French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. 99% Merlot, 1% Syrah. Berry fruit aromas with hints of toasted caramel from the oak, velvety tannins, flavors of fruit, vanilla, and cherry flavors with balanced acidity. v.2013: 90pts. Wine Enthusiast MERLOT ALEXANDER VALLEY Sourced from the Sonoma Coast, this fruit is exposed to cool climate and high rainfall relative to other parts of Sonoma County. Aged 10 months in primarily French oak barrels, this wine is rich, powerful, and mouth-watering. Aromas of sweet, dried fruit, notes of plum, caramel, toasted malt, rich, textured, supple flavors of ripe strawberry and dark fruit framed by hints of toffee, tobacco, and coffee on the finish. v.2014: 92pts. “Best of California” Decanter v.2014: 92 pts. Tasting Panel PINOT NOIR SONOMA COAST Fruited sourced from the Russian River Valley with cooling fog from the Pacific Ocean that significantly reduces nighttime temperatures fostering a long, even growing season. Soils composed mainly of gravel, loam, and sand provides essential water drainage while retaining significant moisture and nutrients to nurture the vines and develop slowly resulting in concentrated varietal flavors. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks at about 60°F using Premier Cuvee yeast, the cleanest and most natural fermenter recommended for this wine. Aromas of ripe melon, honeysuckle, citrus, hints of juicy pear, ample fruit and citrus flavors, palate of subtle sweet wood, almond and lemon zest, clean, bright finish, flower and spice notes, medium to full-bodied from partial malolactic fermentation v.2015: 93 points Tasting Panel Merlot: v2013 Pinot noir: v2014 Pinot Gris: v.2016 PINOT GRIS SONOMA COAST 90pts. – 2013 Merlot, Wine Enthusiast 92pts. “Best of California” – 2014 Pinot Noir, Decanter 90 pts. “Editors’ Choice” – 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast TOP ACCOLADES
