Basic Training Faith 101 – Survival!

Main Text: Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Substance Something real, not imaginary; something solid, not empty. Something existing by itself.

Evidence That which elucidates and enables the mind to see truth; proof arising from our own perceptions by the senses or testimony of others.

Bible Faith Laying hold of the unseen realm of hope and bringing it into the realm of reality by acting on the Word of God!

Psalms 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

Faith is proving God’s Word by acting on it. Hope doesn’t have substance, faith gives the substance.

Faith in God is Faith in His Word! Faith is proving God’s Word by acting on it Hope doesn’t have substance; faith gives the substance.

Hope is future Faith says – “I have the answer now!”

Head Faith vs Heart Faith John Wesley Said that the devil has given the church a substitute for faith that looks and sounds so much like faith that many people can’t tell the difference: Head Faith vs Heart Faith

Romans 10:10 For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation

Mark 11:23 For assuredly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Having comes after believing!

John 20:19-31 Going from a doubter to a believer Did Jesus prays Thomas for his lack of Faith? No….Jesus Said (v27)…..Do not be unbelieving, but believe.

Many people miss it in the area of “Faith” without realizing it because they confess “I believe because Brother or Sister so and so got healed, blessed, financial breakthrough , etc”.`

The confession should be: “I believe because the Word of God saids so!”

Real Bible Faith comes from believing in the Heart that God’s Word is true. With it, you will be able to survive, overcome, dominate and prosper according to what the Word of God saids, not by what the World saids.
