Crowns / Bridges Crowns or “caps,” are needed when the tooth is moderately to severely decimated with caries, fractures, or moderate to severe wear. The movement in dentistry today is away from metals, including silver, gold, and porcelain fused to metal, all used largely in the past, ---and decreasingly today. Nonmetal alternatives offer superior esthetics, and other technical superiorities. Before –unsightly PFM crown After – modern eMax- Lithium Disilicate crown. P.S.—Its difficult to make one new tooth blend in. With care it can be done at a high level.

Full Mouth Reconstruction Where the patient has the need, motivation, and energy,- full mouth reconstruction is a treatment and method to rehabilitate the severely compromised dentition. Implants Dr. Sim attended, as a post-doc student, New York University College of Dentistry, Full Mouth Reconstruction Program, under the Directorship of world famous prosthodontist, Dr. Dean Vafiadis. (2015-2017). Dr. Sim was elected FMR “Man of the Year,” in the academic year 2015-16, for his work at NYU, FMR Program. On 12/18/2017 Dr. Sim was asked to become a Faculty member at the NYU Full Mouth Reconstruction Program; a tremendous honor, which he has accepted, and will begin @2018. Dr. Sim has studied implants, esthetics, and occlusion at a high level; with the best Faculty in the world, and is here to serve you.

Full Mouth Reconstruction Initial 1 st Phase Result This case took (1 ½) years due to healing time for implants and associated surgery. We gained the initial esthetic upgrade quickly, then moved along.

Implant Prosthetics These are implant analogues used in the construction of an “All on Six,” implant retained bridge. The patient previously wore a removable partial for @ 20 years.

Full Dentures Full denture prosthetics, done at a high level, are a “full mouth reconstruction,” ---custom made, detailed, and with attention to care. Do not be fooled by bargain basement, “denture in a day,” $399. dentures. A Yugo car is not the same as a Chevy, Buick, or Cadillac. Would you pay only $399 to fully “fix” any other substantial part of your body??? Does that even sound correct? One day dentures have a place for emergency replacement, bed ridden, or nursing- home bound patients. “The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price.” It is what it is.

Full Dentures Look at the patient’s top right,---there are actually teeth in there,---worn down and no one can see. A new denture “reconstruction” showcases the patients attractiveness.
