Creative Functional Social Business Café

Cafés are great social businesses that can be made from many creative ideas

Menu The menu for a café usually has coffees and light snacks. An example of a creative idea for this could be to create a European styled. So along side the traditional café menu there could be a different country for each day. Day 1 could be France with French Toast Day 2 could be the United Kingdom with a bigger range of scones, jam and cream Day 3 could be Italy with small pizzas

Design The design of a café can give the place its own personality and feel. The personality of a café needs to fit to the customers and the location. If it is near a lot of large businesses and it’s likely to have business people come in, then you would want a more formal design (like the middle picture). If it is going to have mostly families, then you would want a cosy and friendly design (like the picture on the left).

The design of the uniform is important as it should match the style of the café. Some cafés have a very formal uniform like the left picture. Then some cafés go for the informal look which can sometimes be just an apron. This is usually for the cosier styled cafés. Staff Uniform
