Delta Dental of Idaho’s GrinWell for You 9/16/2018 Delta Dental of Idaho’s GrinWell for You “What a great program. I thought it was too good to be true.” “This program has been a life saver for me. Living on Social Security only made it possible to get dental work done when it was an emergency. Thank you for your program.” Our GrinWell for You program was piloted in 13 counties in 2015 with around 300 participants. It offers a year benefit of $1250 for low-income seniors to restore their dental health. After the first year, participants are offered a supplemented plan they pay $10/month for called Protect that offers preventive services to maintain their dental health In 2016, we enrolled 675 seniors, and we anticipate enrolling 800 over the course of 2017. Enrolled 1100 seniors. Providing low-income seniors in Idaho with restorative dental services.

Grins On the Go teams serve 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th grade students in schools with 50% or higher Free and Reduced Lunch rates. This is to capture 1st and 2nd molars as they erupt. Four teams serve statewide in 185 schools in over 66 school districts throughout Idaho.
