RoRo VESSELS

. Roll-on/roll-off (RORO) ships are vessels designed to carry wheeled cargo , such as cars, trucks , semi-trailer trucks, trailers, and railroad cars.

General Design This ships “Roll-on” and “Roll-off” its cargo through its built-in ramps-huge stern (or bow) doors which are lowered to make a bridge from the ship to the warf.

RoRo Types RORO vessels include ferries, cruiseferries, cargo ships, and barges. Pure Car Carrier (PCC) ROPAX ConRO

PCC PCC (Pure Car Carrier) is a kind of RoRo ship which transports only cars. ROPAX ROPAX is a Ro-Ro vessel built for freight vehicle transport with passenger accommodation. ConRO The ConRo vessel is a hybrid between a Ro-Ro and a container ship.
