All about Polar Bears By Student 6

Looks Polar bears look dangerous with big and very sharp claws. They also look strong, aware, and protective.

More Looks They look brave, with sharp teeth, and very good at hunting for for food. They look very preapeared for the cold Artic

Live When they are hot they cool on ice by laying on the ice for a couple minutes. When they hunt they wait for a seal to breath and catch him by the breathing hole.

More Live When the polar bear sleeps for months its called hibernation. Hibernation is also is when a mom gives birth to a cub.

Babies The baby polar bear is called a cub. A daddy polar bear leaves the job to the mommy that means the babiby polar bear never sees its dad.

More Babies A cub has to stay with his mom or it will be lost. A cub plays in the snow to get stroung by running and wallking in the snow.

Food Polar bears get a seal by throwing a seal on land. Also the polar bears and foxes eat the seal.

More Food Polar bears also eat crabs, fish, shrimp, and walruses. Those animals are located under the ice.

Body The mammal have webbed toes to help them swim in the cold water. They have biubber so there warm and ready for the Artic.

More Body They have six inch fur thick fur that keeps them very very warm. When they are to hot they cool on ice.

Extra Polar bear land is made of ice also every year more ice melts. The Artic is very cold with lots of snow.

More Extra Polar bears were hunted by humans for fur to make blankets and keep us warm. We also use polar bear fur for soft rugs.
