Backround & Justification The global economic crisis affected to increase underemployment, unemployment, inflation and poverty in Mongolia. At the same time, remaining low price in livestock products induce negative impact on livelihood of workers.

Conclusion World economy crises influenced to Mongolia as unemployment and decreased livelihood

Target proup & Parties involved The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) has … 13 sectoral associations 22 unions in provinces and capital city and 2013 primary units of trade unions CMTU joins 450,000 members out of which 209,000 are actively engaged in trade union activities.

Activities to achieve the objectives 1. CMTU aims to pursue 8 core conventions and introduce international work norms in Mongolia. 2. Trade unions of all stages will pay prioritized attention to building decent work conditions with the system supporting strong, stable and balanced promotion of decent work and well resourced and multilateral programmes. 3. trade union will tranfer the pension insurance system into solidarity system, which will protect and improve employees social security 4. Three parties in labour relations shall define priority issues, use social negotiation mechanism with strong feasible reason for solving acute social issues and make contracts and negotiations at all relevant stages.
