Formatives Unit 11, Word 1 TLW: to determine the Latin and Greek affixes Formative word: hexagon (noun) Define: hex: 6 (root) Meaning: hexagon- six-sided polygon Sentence: Mrs. Nicar taught her geometry class about the hexagon (a six-sided figure).
