INTRO This is a power point about the dwarf planets and cancer .

How cold are the Dwarf planets ? Each dwarf planet has its own temperature Pluto is about -380* F (- 229* C),Make Make is -239° , Ceres is -105°C , Haumea is -241* C , and Eris is -231°C .

How big are the dwarf planets ? Pluto is 736.9 mi , Make Make is 1,300 km and 1,900 km , Ceres is 8.958 × 10^20 kg , Eris is 1,445 miles in diameter (2,326 km) , and Haumea is. 1,960 km to 1,518 km .

What are the dwarf planets known for ? The only difference between a planet and a dwarf planet is the area surrounding each celestial body. A dwarf planet has not cleared the area around its orbit, while a planet has. Since the new definition, three objects in our solar system have been classified as dwarf planets: Pluto, Ceres, Haumea, and Eris.

Have any robots landed on any of the dwarf planets ? None.

Can you tell us about cancer ? Cancer is one of the twelve constellations of the zodiac. Its name is Latin for crab and it is commonly represented as one. Its astrological symbol is ♋. Cancer is a medium-size constellation with an area of 506 square degrees and its stars are rather faint, its brightest star Beta Cancri having an apparent magnitude of 3.5. It contains two stars with known planets, including 55 Cancri, which has five: one super-earth and four gas giants, one of which is in the habitable zone and as such has expected temperatures similar to Earth. Located at the center of the constellation is Parsee ,one of the closest open clusters to Earth and a popular target for amateur astronomers.

INTERESTING FACTS Cancer lies between Leo, the lion, and Gemini, the twins. It is almost impossible to see Cancer as a crab with the naked eye or even binoculars. It looks more like a faint, upside-down Y. The Hubble Telescope has discovered a fifth moon in orbit around Pluto. This adds to its current satellites Charon, Nix, Hydra and the unnamed... Eris Facts Eris is the most distant dwarf planet from the Sun and has the greatest mass. Eris is the second largest dwarf planet .
