Box Office Takings? Budget? The Box Office takings is the amount of money the film makes during its time in the cinema, here the overall takings were $193 million - A profit of $180 million. The Budget is the amount of money the film producer has available in order to create their product. In this instance the budget was $13 million

Availability on the Internet Through research we found that The Godfather: Part II is available online both legally, through services such as LOVEFiLM and iTunes, but also illegally on various streaming sites and download links. However, in saying this, these would not have affected the overall Box Office takings due to the lack of availability at the time.

DVD Releases The DVD version of The Godfather: Part II was released on 27/09/2004 for approximately £8.99 It can also now be purchased on Blu- Ray as of 06/06/2011 for approximately £10.99

DVD Release cont. Similarly, there have also been two separate releases for box-sets including all three of the Godfather films. These are: Standard Edition which was released 13/03/2006, and can currently be bought for approximately £13.99 Digitally Remastered Edition which was released 02/06/2008 and is currently on the market for approximately £29.99

Reviews (Internet Movie Database) - 9.0/10 “This movie is way too good to be labelled a sequel to The Godfather . Rather it is more of a companion piece to the original and the two perfectly compliment each other .” - 98% on the Tomatometer and a 9.2/10 “This is nothing short of magisterial”

Media Coverage & Advertisements The film has a trailer which can be viewed online and was presumably aired on television and in the cinema before the films release. http://www.youtube.com/watch ?v=qJr92K_hKl0 There are also film posters available which help promote the film.
